Thursday February 7, 2008

Today will be a busy day at the Homewood Library. The day starts out with our Drop-In storyhour for 3-5 year olds. Join me at 9:45 as I share Valentine stories with you and we will have a special craft for you also.

Then at 10:45 our babies will be arriving for their Baby Bloomer Storyhour. This is also a drop in program for babies (0-2 yrs old) and a care giver. Toys and books are available to share with your children. I will read a couple of stories and we will sing a few songs together.

Kindergarten-2nd Grade Storyhour starts today at 4:00 pm for those that are registered. This program is filled for this session, but there will be another session in March and you may register by calling the youth desk at 708-798-0121 ext 222.

Then at 7:00 pm the Parent-Child Book Discussion group will meet to discuss Yankee Girl by Mary Ann Rodman. We will not be meeting in the meeting room so stop by the youth desk to find out where we will be.

Starlight Family Storyhour tonight at 6:30. This is also a drop-in program and all ages our welcome. Our feature author of the night will be Margaret Wise Brown.
